A day after decommiting from Penn State, Micah Parsons adds SEC offer
Micah Parsons said Penn State is still in the mix for his services despite decommiting from the school Sunday.
A day after announcing his decommitment from Penn State, Harrisburg’s Micah Parsons said Monday he received an offer from Mississippi State.
The five-star junior defensive end, who is ranked in the top 10 of most recruiting services’ 2018 rankings, committed to Penn State in February of 2016.
However, the 6-foot-3, 235 pounder, who helped lead Harrisburg to an appearance in the 6A title game last season, told PennLive earlier this year that he remained committed to Penn State, but was still looking at other schools.
That changed Sunday when he announced his decommitment.
Parsons said he is planning to visit Alabama and Florida State, soon.
However, he said he is still considering Penn State.
