Who could Penn State’s 2018 NFL Draft picks be? An early look at the Lions and the Big Ten
The 2017 NFL Draft has come and gone, as receiver Chris Godwin went in Round 3 to Tampa Bay. He pretty much went where most analysts pegged him to go, and the fact that no other former Nittany Lions were drafted was not a surprise, either.
Sure, some thought end Garrett Sickels might be nabbed late, but no one bit.
Of course, some were signed as undrafted free agents, and will now have a chance to fight their way into camp as former Lion and current Miami Dolphin Mike Hull, among others, once did.
It’s not an easy path, but it’s the one those guys now have, an undoubtedly a few additional former Lions might end up in their shoes, too.
That draft is behind us, though, and it’s never too early to get a head start on next year’s draft. You’ll see top 2018 NFL prospect boards all week long if you haven’t already, so why not take a Penn State, and Big Ten, specific approach?
