The second-year cornerback blanketed Julio Jones in coverage and knocked away Matt Ryan’s final pass to seal the Philadelphia Eagles’ 15-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons and send the Eagles to the NFC Championship Game.

The Eagles were nursing the five-point lead and the Falcons had the chance to go ahead and potentially win the game with at touchdown right there. Atlanta had sliced through the Philadelphia defense behind Ryan, the former MVP who went to high school at Penn Charter in the city.
And facing fourth down at the Eagles 2, it was clear the Falcons were going to be looking in Jones’ direction. The star receiver had nine catches for 101 yards, including a crucial catch earlier in the drive on a mismatch with safety Malcolm Jenkins.

Ryan rolled to his right, tried to buy time and tossed it in Jones’ direction. The wide receiver slipped with Mills attached to his hip, and Mills — he of the signature finger wag celebration — knocked the ball to the ground.
The Eagles were moving on the NFC Championship Game.
