Pittsburgh Steelers sign seventh-round pick Keion Adams
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed seventh-round pick Keion Adams to a four-year deal. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Adams (6-6, 245), a linebacker out of Western Michigan, was the 248th overall pick. He finished his career with 124 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Adams is the second of the Steelers’ eight picks to sign with the team. Utah cornerback Brian Allen, the 173rd overall pick, signed with the Steelers on Monday.
Pittsburgh has room on its 90-man offseason roster for all of its draft picks following a series of cuts last week. The Steelers also had $15,716,718 of space under the salary cap as of Monday’s update of the NFL Players Association’s public report.
The Steelers’ three-day rookie minicamp begins on Friday. Draft picks do not need to have signed contracts to participate.
