Philly sports podcast: Recapping the Donofrio Classic; what did Eagles’ Carson Wentz say this week?
On this week’s episode of The Philly Walkthrough, PennLive’s Philadelphia sports podcast, Daniel and Aaron put a bow on the high school basketball season and take a look toward next week’s NFL draft.
The Donofrio Classic in Conshohocken wrapped up Tuesday night with Team Philly defeating Central Pa.’s Raw Sports All Stars handily (1:20). But there were still plenty of top notch performances, notably from Imhotep Charter’s Daron Russell and Reading’s Lonnie Walker, who were named the contest’s MVPs. Daniel went through some of his favorite performances of the event and which players made an impression on him.
Earlier this week, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz met with the local media for the first time this offseason to give an update about how his offseason has gone (15:10). There was talk of altering mechanics and input on draft picks. Aaron explains how much of that Wentz talked about and what it actually means.
