Agholor’s story has been well-told, from his benching late last season after a disaster in Seattle to his claim that he had reformed this offseason and in the best shape of his life.
So far, Agholor’s redemption has been a big part of the Eagles’ 2017 season. He entered Sunday with 48 catches for 663 yards and seven touchdowns, plus 13.8 yards per catch. All four of those numbers are career-best marks for the former first-round pick out of USC.
Agholor emerged as a playmaker for quarterback Carson Wentz, and he’s kept that going with Nick Foles. Agholor’s 10-yard catch was Foles’ fourth touchdown throw of the game, and Agholor has four catches for 33 yards and his score on the afternoon.
After falling behind 20-7, the Eagles have outscored the Giants, 24-3. Agholor’s touchdown put the Birds up 31-23.
