Philadelphia Eagles pre-free agency position group breakdown: Quarterbacks
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback room could be the envy of the NFL. Carson Wentz was on track to be a potential NFL Most Valuable Player. Nick Foles went on a tear in the postseason to win Super Bowl MVP. Nate Sudfeld had the most accurate debut of any quarterback ever and could wind up as Wentz’s backup. There’s a lot to like about this room. But will it look the same when the Birds open camp in August?

This group remains unchanged — for now — for the Eagles in 2018, which bodes well for the future. Carson Wentz will be entering his third season and was an NFL MVP frontrunner before his season-ending knee injury in December, while Nick Foles stepped in and, after finding his footing, led the Birds to Super Bowl LII with a Super Bowl MVP performance. The Eagles signed Sudfeld to the active roster after the Colts tried to poach him, and he set an accuracy record in his debut in the season finale. So it figures to be a group that should remain productive.
