Philadelphia Eagles’ Carson Wentz hunts in New Zealand, publishes 1st video of series
As the face of an NFL franchise, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has grown accustomed to cameras pointing his way.
But Friday, he starred in a production that had nothing to do with football. Instead, Wentz and his brother Zach published a 10-minute video on Youtube that detailed their expedition to New Zealand earlier this year for wild goat hunting.
“During the past couple of years, Zach and I had been discussing going on a big game hunting trip, but due to the football season taking place in the fall, our opportunities are very limited,” Wentz said in the video. “So when we found out that New Zealand allowed the opportunity in March and April to hunt some big game, we jumped at it.”
The video, which you can watch below, shows the Wentz brothers hunting with bows and arrows. They posted it to the Wentz Bros Outdoors Youtube channel, and the video is titled “New Zealand Chapter 1: South Island Tahr,” so we can probably expect more to come.
