Philadelphia Eagles 2017 NFL Draft Day 2 preview: remaining needs, options and more

The Eagles selected Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett with the No. 14 overall pick in the NFL draft Thursday, but that’s in the rearview now.
Philly’s decision-makers don’t have much time to gawk at or admire or contemplate their selection of Barnett, not with the second and third rounds awaiting Friday night. The Birds addressed their itch to add a young edge rusher and now wade into the middle rounds of the draft with several other areas on their roster remaining weak.
