Penn State will be ‘stiff competition’ for top 2019 recruit; spring questions the Lions must answer, and more

Today’s Penn State football news features the latest on a top Class of 2019 quarterback target and a spring practice preview.
Rivals caught up with Avon, Conn., passer Taisun Phommachanh after he visited South Carolina and Clemson recently, and the four-star also talked about his recruitment overall.
All of the schools are recruiting me really hard but Florida State, UCONN, Pen State, Florida, and Clemson are doing it more than the others,” Phommachanh told the outlet.
His full thoughts can be found below, but as it relates to the Lions, author and analyst Adam Friedman writes:
“His visits to Florida and Florida State net week will be very important and the Nittany Lions will be stiff competition.”
