Penn State has set its 2018 Lift for Life date.
The 16th installment of the football team lifting challenge that benefits Uplifting Athletes and the rare disease community will take place at 11 a.m. on June 30 at Holuba Hall. The date is a couple of Saturday’s earlier than what has become the norm, as the event has been held the Saturday of Arts Fest weekend in mid-July in recent years.
Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and an autograph session will take place following the offense versus defense event. A suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for kids is recommended, but there is no entry fee otherwise. The popular kids clinic is also returning, and will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Penn State’s Lift for Life has raised over a million dollars total for the rare disease community since it started at the school in 2003.
