Penn State recruiting podcast: Justin Shorter’s big day and lessons learned from The Opening
Penn State wide receiver commit Justin Shorter is elevating his national recruiting profile seemingly with each and every event he attends. The four-star prospect from South Brunswick (N.J.) High School was named the fastest man at The Opening regional in New Jersey and left more than a few defenders in his dust during drills.
Shorter is every bit of 6-4 and 220 pounds and says he ran the 40-yard dash in the range of 4.50 seconds at the regional event. In the process, he was one of five players to get invitations to The Opening finals in July.
Greg Pickel and I assessed the meaning of Shorter’s performance, where the Lions stand with Micah Parsons and other lessons learned from The Opening regional events this week in a podcast for the Keystone Sports Network. Check out audio from the show below.
