Penn State’s practices leading up to Saturday’s Blue-White game at Beaver Stadium are all but over. There is one more minor workout, James Franklin called it a “jog-through” on Monday, and then it’s time for the scrimmage. So how are the Nittany Lions different from the group that began practice sessions last month? There may be some clarity at some positions. Others? Not so much.

The next 10 days or so will be busy for Penn State. After the Blue-White game, the NFL draft kicks off in Dallas a week from Thursday. The Lions will be well-represented and former PSU star Saquon Barkley could go (should go) in the first five picks of the draft. But let’s focus on the current team.
