NFL Mock Draft 2017: Projecting the Pittsburgh Steelers for 7 rounds
With the NFL Draft finally arriving on Thursday in Philadelphia, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ draft picture is as clear as it will ever be. The Steelers, trying to get back to the AFC Championship, need pass rushing help, depth at running back and wide receiver and potentially reinforcements in the heart of the defense. So we mocked out each of their 8 picks.
Davis, who has already visited the Steelers this pre-draft season, would be a clear challenger to the starting spot Vince Williams is presumed to have since Lawrence Timmons signed with the Miami Dolphins in free agency. This would be good for Davis, but potentially tricky for a locker room that likes Williams a lot.
