NFL draft 2018: 3 Steelers picks in 3 positions of need
The Steelers’ draft needs haven’t changed. The future of the inside linebacker position in Pittsburgh isn’t particularly secure, free agent safety signing Morgan Burnett has a tellingly backloaded contract and there’s concrete reason to be sure that the 2018 season isn’t Le’Veon Bell’s last with the team.
Pittsburgh needs help at all three of these positions. And while there are others where they could use reinforcements, the heart of both sides of the ball will be today’s focus. Here, we offer three possible picks in each:

Guice would probably have to be a first-round pick. There’s a big gap in the mock drafters’ estimations between the No. 1 running back in this class, Saquon Barkley, and the supposed second-best, Guice. This leaves the LSU standout potentially falling to Pittsburgh at No. 28 overall with the chance of giving the team tangible leverage in negotiations with Bell, if not also his replacement and a one-year complement.
