Montour’s Ronnie Stevenson has Temple offer, hoping for Penn State, Pitt
Montour’s Ronnie Stevenson (facing) said he has an offer from Temple and is hoping to hear from Penn State and Pitt.
Ronnie Stevenson stood out at the East Coast Elite 7v7 tournament at Spooky Nook Saturday.
At 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, the Montour High junior was among the biggest pass catchers at the event.
He claims an offer from Temple, but more may be on the way.
“I’ve been hearing from a lot of schools,” Stevenson said. “Penn State, Pitt, Michigan State, Boston College and Iowa State are the ones I’ve heard from the most.
“They all say they like my size. They need a big receiver.”
Stevenson said he hopes to visit Penn State and Pitt, soon.
“I visited Penn State two weeks ago,” he said. “I saw they had some big receivers like me, and that’s what they’re looking for.
“At Pitt, I just watched their practice, and I liked how they coached their receivers and ran their program.”
Stevenson said he likes both programs, and hopes they get in the mix for him.
“I like them both,” he said. “So if both offered, it’d be a tough decision.”
He said he also “really likes” Temple’s program.
