Asmussen has 591 wins at Churchill Downs, starting in 1993. With 13 starts so far in the Kentucky Derby, Asmussen is looking for his first victory. He has a 0-1-2 record. He has more than 7,200 wins, which is the most among active trainers and second all-time.
Suroor has made six appearances at the Kentucky Derby. His best finish came in 2000 when China Visit came in sixth. He was the British Flat Racing Champion trainer in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004.
Maker has more than 1,600 wins to his name, but is still searching for his first Triple Crown win. He has been ranked in the top-10 for trainer wins consistently for seven years.
Pletcher has 134 wins at Chuchill Downs, starting in 1996. In 43 Kentucky Derby starts — the second most in history — he has a record of 1-2-3 over the past 15 years. His lone winner was Super Saver in 2010.
