Castro’s run leads Erie to 5-4 win over Harrisburg
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Harold Castro scored on a wild pitch in the ninth inning, leading the Erie SeaWolves to a 5-4 win over the Harrisburg Senators on Tuesday.
Ruben Alaniz got Mario Lisson to fly out with a runner on second to end the game for his second save of the season.
Castro scored on the play in the ninth after he reached base with a single, stole second and then went to third on a groundout.
Kurt Spomer (2-1) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Wander Suero (0-1) took the loss in the Eastern League game.
Zach Collier doubled and singled twice, also stealing a base for the Senators.
